Monika Janik
Monika Janik received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from the Wroclaw University of Technology (WUT), Poland, in 2014 and 2015, respectively. She is currently working towards achieving her Ph.D. degree at Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO) in Canada (since September 2015). For the last 3 years, her research activities have been focused on determination of biological properties of the bacteriophage tail proteins in Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy in Wrocław, Polish Academy of Science in Medical Microbiology Laboratory. Now her main activities are focused on fiber optics biosensors for bacterial detection.
