Ewa Brzozowska


Dr Ewa Brzozowska received a M.Sc. degree in biotechnology in 2002 from the University of Wroclaw, Poland and Ph.D. degree in biology in 2009 from the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy Polish Academy of Science (IIET, PAS), Wroclaw, Poland. She is an Assistant Professor in the IIET. Since October 2010 she has been a broker of technology and IP at Wroclaw Research Centre EIT+ and since July 2012 until March 2013 she was an Assistant of Patent Attorneys at Office of Patent Attorneys - Patent Attorneys WTS Witek, Śnieżko and Partners. During October 2011- May 2012, she pursued a Postgraduate studies: Project management and commercialization of research results at Technical University of Wroclaw. She was a leader and principle investigator in over 10 projects and she is a co-author of over 30 journals, conference papers and 6 patents. She won the Gold medal for a diagnostic test for of S. agalactiae infections on 29 International Exhibition of Innovation INPEX ® 2014, in Pittsburgh, USA. Her research interest include bacteriophages and bacteriophage proteins as antibacterial agents and as tools for bacteria detection, bacteriophage-bacteria interaction mechanisms and antibacterial proteins structure determination.
