Canada research chair in clinical cyberpsychology

On October 21st, 2003, the Canada research Chairs’ program, in collaboration with the UQO, has proceed to the official lauching of the research Chair in clinical cyberpsychology (Junior). This high scale grant was given to the teacher and researcher Stéphane Bouchard, responsable for the clinical section of the Cyberpsychology Lab of UQO. A total of 500 000$ for 5 years (renewable), allowed the team to expand and by high-tech equipment. It also allowed to develop new treatments programs in virtual reality for anxiety disorders and other related problems. Thanks to the team’s hard work, the Clinical Cyberpsychology Research Chair has been renewed in 2009 and in 2016 has a Senior chair wich allows a total of 1.4M$ for 7 years (renewable).
